There's really nothing wrong with that line.
I can really only thing of 2 things that need to be set:
The 2nd parameter is the window class name, you must have a class registered by that name, or it will fail. (probably registered with RegisterClass or RegisterClassEx)
you might want to check the retvalue of RegisterClass.
Also, the 2nd to the last variable, the hinstance, shouldn't be null.
The 3rd param is the window title, the 4th is window flags.
the 5th,6 7, 8 are window placement & size params,
the next 2 NULLs are the handle to the parent & menu.
The very last value has to do with passing info to the window. It is used only in strange circumstances.
